The Surgical Training Center at FORE provides a state-of-the-art facility to train and educate surgeons on the latest surgical techniques and medical devices. This hands-on training allows surgeons to continually advance their surgical skills in the evolving field of orthopaedics. The Bio-Skills Laboratory and adjacent Conference Room allow design review meetings and implant system validation. Additionally, the Biomechanics Laboratory can be utilized for evaluation of implant systems using Sawbones® or cadaveric specimens to guide the design process. Furthermore, biomechanical testing can be used to demonstrate the rationale behind the design of an instrument or device to more effectively educate surgeons.
